Ale is a highly regarded community engagement and business development leader with more than 20 years of experience advancing inclusive growth within the construction and small business sectors. She brings a deep understanding of recruitment strategy, supplier diversity, DEI initiatives, and industry relationship-building, supported by an extensive network across Denver’s diverse business community.
Throughout her career, Ale has held leadership roles within trade organizations and large construction firms, where she has led community participation efforts, developed supplier diversity initiatives, guided strategic outreach programs, and served on industry boards and internal leadership committees. Her work is driven by a strong commitment to connecting businesses and individuals to meaningful opportunities and resources, strengthening both organizations and communities.

Dr. Blair Zaid
Director of Youth Programs Girls Inc. of Metro Denver
Dr. Blair Rose Zaid is an anthropologist and African American Studies scholar who specializes in archaeology and examining human cultural behavior across time. She has over 15 years of teaching and research on social science topics that impact North America, the Caribbean, and Africa. She is specifically skilled in community engagement across a variety of ages, abilities, and cultural expressions with an emphasis on hands-on science communication and interaction. When not in the field or laboratory, she enjoys camping and cooking for her family.

Dr. Asia Lyons
Founder of Lyons Educational Consulting (LEC) LLC
Dr. Asia Lyons, the founder and lead designer at Lyons Educational Consulting (LEC) LLC, is deeply committed to her mission of co-creating truly inclusive environments designed to empower Black educators and foster their self-actualization through wellness initiatives.
Dr. Lyons brings nearly 20 years of practical and academic knowledge to her work as a former K-12 educator in the Denver Metro Area and as an adjunct professor at the esteemed University of Colorado - Denver School of Education and Human Development. She earned her doctorate in Leadership for Educational Equity, with a concentration in Urban and Diverse Communities, where her dissertation research examined the profound impact of racism-related stress and racial battle fatigue on Black educators and their families.
